If you saw last year’s fantastic animated film Rango, you know that both director Gore Verbinski and star Johnny Depp are both very familiar with the western genre. But the star and director of The Pirates of the Carribbean series are teaming up once again – in live action, this time – to take us back to the Old West in Verbinski’s newest film, The Lone Ranger. Rising star Armie Hammer, who played the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network, is taking center stage here as the title character, and thanks to a Russian site called JohnnyDepp.ru, we’ve got a look at the real Armie Hammer on location for the film. Johnny Depp’s stunt double shows up, too, and even though it’s not Depp himself, we still get a great look at what his character, Tonto, will ultimately look like. Take a look below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
